Wow! The idea for a leaf inside a light bulb is so good! I think it’s more evocative of the kind of “green lifestyle” stuff Planet Green seems to be about. I like the first logo, but if I just saw it I would think that it was more of a nature channel. I think that you should DEFINITELY refine the light bulb idea — and then patent it or trademark it or whatever! FAST!

My instructor really wants me to go with the light bulb idea too. He offered a few ideas for refinement and wants a little more contrast.
